Professor James Kekanovich knows marketing and shares his experiences from the worlds of experiential marketing, advertising and music.
From the world of experiential marketing, Kekanovich has delivered successful brand experiences for fortune 500 brands like DuPont, Labatt, Michelin, Nautica, McGraw Hill Ryerson and Sony Ericsson.
From the world of entertainment marketing, Kekanovich has worked on special projects for Sony, Sony Music, and Universal Music.
Kekanovich has two years of experience teaching at the College level. For example, he taught "Entertainment Marketing" and "Promotions and Publicity" in the Music Business Management Program, School of Media, Art and Design at Durham College. Concurrently, Kekanovich also taught "Marketing I" and "The History of Popular Music" within the School of Interdisciplinary Studies at Durham College.
Kekanovich has experience with curriculum development in higher education. He wrote two general education courses for Durham College: "Adventures in Ideas" and "The Brand Experience".
